Paraphrenia is a form of schizophrenia. It is the most common form of schizophrenia. A person with paraphrenia experiences delusions and paranoia.These delusions can cause jealousy. If a person with paraphrenia does not act on there delusions they appear to be normal until they act on there delusions.

More than one psychiatrist may be used because this type of schizophrenia effects different aspects of your life. Medication is key for paranoid schizophrenia. Without medication they is little to no hope of living a semi normal life.

When on the medication they can go on with there daily lives, but once off they may start seeing delusions and act out at any moment.
